About Anselms Hot Glass Studio
Anselm's Kitengela Hot Glass Studio, founded by Nani Croze, is Kenya's most celebrated recycled glass art studio and sits about 30 km south of Nairobi in the Kitengela plains. Artists transform old glass bottles into sculptures, stained-glass panels, jewellery, and one-of-a-kind home décor in a vibrant open-air workshop that feels more like a living gallery than a factory.
Guests can watch glass-blowers at the furnace, observe sculptors shaping molten glass, browse the on-site shop, and wander through the sculptured garden. The studio also doubles as a working artists' community — painters, potters, and weavers share the grounds, making every visit different.
